Ultrasonic Level Transmitter measuring principle

Measurements are achieved by emitting high-frequency sound waves, which travel through the measured medium and reflect back to the sensor. By measuring the round-trip time of the sound wave, the distance between the sensor and the surface of the medium can be determined.
