  • FAQ

1. What is the MIK-MPP1000 multi-parameter analyzer?

The MIK-MPP1000 is an integrated cabinet analyzer for online water quality monitoring. It can measure turbidity, residual chlorine, pH/ORP, temperature, conductivity and dissolved oxygen in one system, and is used in water supply plants, tap water networks, secondary water supply, user taps, indoor swimming pools, large purification equipment and direct drinking water systems.

2. Which parameters can it measure?
  • Turbidity: 0–1 / 0–20 / 0–100 / 0–4000 NTU
  • Residual chlorine or chlorine dioxide: 0–5 mg/L or 0–20 mg/L
  • pH / ORP (optional): 0–14 pH, ±2000 mV
  • Temperature: -20 to 85 °C
  • Conductivity (optional): 1–2000 μS/cm or 1–200 mS/m
  • Dissolved oxygen (optional): 0–20 mg/L
3. How accurate is each parameter?
  • Turbidity: 2% or ±0.02 NTU (2% or 0.1 NTU on the 0–4000 NTU range)
  • Residual chlorine: ±0.05 mg/L or ±5% (DPD comparison error ±10%)
  • pH / ORP: ±0.1 pH, ±20 mV or ±2%
  • Temperature: ±0.5 °C
  • Conductivity: ±1.5% FS
  • Dissolved oxygen: ±0.3 mg/L
4. Can it measure low turbidity in drinking water?

Yes. The turbidity resolution is 0.001 NTU on the 0–1, 0–20 and 0–100 NTU ranges, with a lower detection limit of 0.02 NTU, zero drift ≤1.5% and indication stability ≤1.5%. It is designed for tap water (0.1–1 NTU) and purified water (0.001–0.1 NTU).

5. How fast is the response?
  • Turbidity: T90 ≤120 s
  • Residual chlorine: ≤120 s
  • pH / ORP: ≤60 s
  • Conductivity: ≤30 s
  • Dissolved oxygen: ≤30 s
  • Temperature: ≤25 s
6. What sample water flow and pressure are required?
  • Inlet flow: 500–1000 mL/min
  • Inlet pressure: within the specified limit (approximately below 3 kg/cm²)

Please tell us your sample pressure so we can confirm whether a pressure reducer is needed.

7. What power supply is required?

220 VAC ±22 V, 50 ±1 Hz. Power consumption is 30 W.

8. What are the cabinet size and weight?
  • Cabinet size: 800 × 506 × 180 mm (standard version)

12. How much maintenance does it need?
  • Turbidity: 3–12 months, depending on water quality
  • Residual chlorine: 1–3 months, or weekly calibration, with consumables replaced every 3–6 months
  • pH / ORP: 1–3 months
  • Conductivity: 3–6 months
  • Dissolved oxygen: 1–3 months
  • Temperature: 12 months
13. Does residual chlorine measurement need reagents?

The residual chlorine accuracy is specified with a DPD comparison error of ±10%, which refers to comparison with the laboratory DPD method. Please contact us to confirm the measuring method and the consumables required for your configuration.

14. Can the analyzer be customized?

Yes. The MIK-MPP1000 supports customization including trademark, name and cabinet appearance, which is useful for OEM partners, system integrators and utilities.

15. Why choose an integrated multi-parameter cabinet instead of separate instruments?

One cabinet measures several parameters from the same sample, which improves data consistency, reduces installation and maintenance costs, increases system integration and supports long-term automated operation.

16. How is the MIK-MPP1000 different from the MIK-MPP500 and MIK-MDX100?
  • MIK-MPP1000: 800 × 506 × 180 mm cabinet; turbidity up to 4000 NTU; optional heating module for -25 °C; optional pH/ORP, conductivity and dissolved oxygen.
  • MIK-MPP500: economy cabinet (500 × 400 × 200 mm) with colour touch screen; turbidity up to 2000 NTU; optional pure water conductivity sensor.
  • MIK-MDX100: compact wall-mounted analyzer for up to 6 parameters, reagent-free, 24 VDC or 220 VAC, up to 4 analog outputs.
17. How is the analyzer installed?

The MIK-MPP1000 is an integrated cabinet that needs a sample water inlet within the specified flow and pressure range, a drain line and a 220 VAC power supply. Please follow the installation manual or contact us for site-specific advice.

18. Where is the MIK-MPP1000 used?

Typical applications include water plant process control, tap water pipeline networks, secondary water supply, user taps, indoor swimming pools, large purification equipment and direct drinking water systems, as well as water management and sanitation supervision.
