  • FAQ

1. What is the MIK-DC2000?

The MIK-DC2000 is a universal digital analyzer monitor for online water quality measurement. It can monitor pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and sludge concentration, and provides 4–20 mA, RS485 and relay outputs.

2. Which parameters can the MIK-DC2000 monitor?

pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (with saturation), turbidity and sludge concentration, depending on the connected sensor.

3. What are the display ranges?
  • pH: 0–14 pH
  • ORP: -2000 to 2000 mV
  • Dissolved oxygen: 0–40 mg/L; saturation 0–200%
  • Conductivity: 0–600 mS/cm
  • Turbidity: 0–4000 NTU
  • Sludge concentration: 0–120,000 mg/L

The actual measuring range depends on the connected sensor.

4. Which sensors can be connected?

The MIK-DC2000 is a digital analyzer monitor designed for Asmik digital sensors, such as the MIK-PH8001 digital pH sensor, MIK-TDS8001 digital conductivity sensor, MIK-DO7012 optical DO sensor and MIK-PTU-8010 turbidity sensor. Please tell us which sensor you plan to use so we can confirm compatibility.

5. How many sensors can be connected at the same time?

Please tell us how many parameters you need to monitor at one point. If you need two sensors on one controller, including an analog pH/ORP sensor, see the MIK-DC-P2 dual channel universal controller.

6. How accurate is the MIK-DC2000?

Measurement accuracy depends mainly on the connected sensor. The current output accuracy of the MIK-DC2000 is ±0.2% FS. Please check the specification of the selected sensor.

7. What outputs are available?
  • Current output: 4–20 mA, load capacity 500 Ω, output accuracy ±0.2% FS
  • RS485 output: isolated, Modbus-RTU
  • Alarm relays: 2 channels, AC 250 V / 3 A
8. What is the 12 V distribution output for?

The MIK-DC2000 provides a 12 V / 125 mA distribution (power) output, which can generally be used to supply power to a connected sensor. Please check the power requirement of your sensor before connecting.

9. Can the MIK-DC2000 control pumps or alarms?

Yes. The two alarm relays can be used for high or low alarms or to switch equipment such as dosing pumps, and the 4–20 mA output can be used by a PLC for proportional control.

10. What display does it have?

It has a 2.8-inch monochrome LCD with a resolution of 128×64.

11. What are the dimensions and panel cutout?
  • Dimensions: 100 × 100 × 150 mm
  • Panel cutout: 92.5 × 92.5 mm
12. What power supply is required?

100–240 VAC as standard, with 24 VDC optional.

13. What is the ingress protection rating?

Please tell us your installation environment. For outdoor or wet locations, install the monitor in a suitable protective enclosure.

14. What environmental conditions are required?
  • Working temperature: 0 to 60 °C
  • Relative humidity: 10% to 85% (no condensation)
  • Storage temperature: -15 to 65 °C; humidity 5% to 95% (no condensation)
  • Altitude: below 2000 m
15. How does the MIK-DC2000 compare with the MIK-DC-P2 and MIK-PH8.0?
  • MIK-DC2000: compact 100 × 100 mm digital analyzer monitor for multiple parameter types; 2.8-inch LCD.
  • MIK-DC-P2: dual-channel controller accepting analog or digital sensors; 4.3-inch color screen; IP66; optional NB-IoT.
  • MIK-PH8.0: dedicated pH/ORP meter for analog electrodes; 4.3-inch screen; IP65.
16. How is the system calibrated?

Calibration is performed for the connected sensor, for example with pH buffer solutions or conductivity standards. Please follow the calibration procedure in the manual for your sensor and monitor.

17. Which industries use the MIK-DC2000?

It is used for online water quality monitoring in water and wastewater treatment, environmental protection, aquaculture, chemical, food and other industrial processes.
